Valencia Open created its first Corporate Social responsibility Plan in 2010 with the idea of work with: sustainability, solidarity, transparency, honesty, concern for human rights, concern with Comunidad Valenciana, education, ethical behavior, sport without discrimination and social commitment. This ideas has been always successful in the tournament wich makes it much more than a sport competition. 

Valencia Open was the first tournament with wheelchair tennis in 'Master Nacional de Tenis'. 'Promesas' is now a referent in the younger tenni's fans and this year had more than 500 kids. 'Street Tennis' brings the tennis to the street and 'Concurso de Escaparates' is a classic in the shops of Comunidad Valenciana.

This year we will have some new ideas which started last year. The most important of it is the Blind Tennis: a new way of playing tennis made specially for blind people. Also we will have a more sustainable tournament offsetting our emissions of CO2 from the official transport thanks to Peugeot and helping with the use of public transport through the campaign ' The train takes you to the Valencia Open'.

All of this new ideas help to Valencia Open to become a reference of sustainability.
