What is the role of the chair umpire?

The main function is to manage the deputy referee, to check all registrations and to coordinate the organization. Everything should be done in order.

How the chair umpire is chosen?

A deputy referee is appointed by the club where the tournament takes place and then they contact me to coordinate together. I decide the rules of the tournament, I have the final decision. The deputy referee is always in contact with me.

How do you manage the continuos growth of the tournament?

This is good for us because now there is a previous stage. The most important tournaments have previous stages, and it means that we have a tournament with recognized quality. 

This year has been implemented Sportsmanship Award, what is your opinion?

Perfect idea. They are children and teenagers and these are difficult years. We want to promote sport values, is not only to win. Tennis has always been known for it values, for it fair play.
