More than 800 children have lived today a great day of fun and sport in Massanassa and Torrent

The Valencia Open Street Tennis becomes bigger. If already it was an important day, for the fisrt time there have been two events on the same day: in the morning in Massanassa and in the afternoon in Torrent. More than 800 children have enjoyed a day of fun and sport in this third edition. 

Both events were attended by numerous coaches, volunteers and also by the Manager of the Valencia Open, Juan Carlos Ferrero. "We are happy to be back here, close to the people who give us so much support throughout the year and especially when Valencia Open kisk off is closer. Our aim is to promote healthy lifestyles through sport in general and tennis in particular", said the Manager.

The Manager of 'Valencia Open Street Tennis', Juan Olivert, thanked all people who have helped to make this possible: "We are very pleased to see many children participating in these two activitiese and how they, their families and friends have enjoyed. Especially I want to thank all volunteers who help us, the technical staff of Valencia Open and Juan Carlos Ferrero for his continued involvement".

Juan Carlos Ferrero Foundation and the Fundación Deporte Joven del Consejo Superior de Deportes promote tennis among schoolchildren. Valencia Open Street Tennis promotes a healthy lifestyle, based on physical exercise and the use of sport as a tool for educating young people in their values. It also collaborates with Cystic Fibrosis to raise awareness of the disease.
