Wednesday stars in the Agora
The 'Valencia Open 500 ATP World Tour' faces Wednesday with a spectacular entrance to the scene of the first three seeded Ferrer, Berdych and Murray, plus the defending champions Youzhny. They are joined by Robredo, Carreño and Bautista to make the day one of the best in recent memory in the history of the tournament.
At 12.00 starts the day with Berdych and Pablo Andujar in the center court of the Agora, in what is the third time in their career, with a record of three wins for the Czech, who is one of the favorites to win the title for his high level of play and the year leading champion in Rotterdam and Stockholm and during the race for the London Masters.
Andy Murray enters in the second round to face his first match in the tournament against Austrian Jurgen Melzer. Murray is the clear favorite, as it has never lost in the six times they have faced.
The first opponent to David Ferrer will be Italian Andreas Seppi, who has never beaten him in the eight games they've played, of which three have been this year (Miami, Roland Garros and Hamburg).
The last match will gather in the Agora Tommy Robredo and Yen-Hsun Lu. It is the second commitment for these players in this year's tournament.
