Tommy Robredo, winner of the longest serve Coronita

20 October 2014

The 'Valencia Open 500 ATP World Tour' has hosted one of the most popular actions that take place during the tournament week. It is the longest serve Coronita, which, as usual, has been done in South Lake City of Arts and Sciences with the presence of major players like Feliciano Lopez, Tommy Robredo and John Isner.

Robredo has won the challenge, sending the ball 72 meters and staying just two of last year's record of Feliciano. Each player has two opportunities to serve that have been measured by the judges. The prize for the winner are 2,000 euros to deliver a foundation or NGO, and Tommy's has donated to the foundation that bears his own name.

Feliciano has thrown the ball 68 meters and Isner has fallen to 67. Before that, three boys have competed with each other, with the winner Rafael Camilo, from academia Equelite Juan Carlos Ferrero, who has competed with professionals. The young talent has also thrown the ball 72 meters.
