Just like last year, when Xàtiva hosted its first Valencia Open 500 Street Tennis tournament, the town welcomed the event with open arms. It proved to be an enormous success in terms of the number of players with over 200 children from every corner of the Valencia province taking part. Given that it was held on a public holiday – the official Day of the Valencian Community – even more young people took advantage of the day off school to participate.
