Guillermo García-López arrived to Valencia with a past against with Fernando Verdasco (7-1). But in three sets, García-López won to Fernando Verdasco and he is now in quarter finals. 

Guillermo García-López after the macth explained "the matches against Fernando are so hard because he plays so fast. The key was know his style. The othe two times we have play this year he won but in this one I had an extra level. At the end, with all the practice that we have, the macth is decided by datails. I continue with the level I had all this season".

Futhermore, he talks about Valencia Open. "It not supported as it should be. The director and the organization of the tournament are suffering. We must try to save this tournament but in the end, the institutions are tthe ones who can do it".

This Wednesday we will have matches of first and second round. The matches will start at 12noon in central court and in court 1. 

Bernard Tomic will plays for first time against Pablo Cuevas. Next will be the turn to Roberto Bautista and Nicolás Almagro, who had a 'wild card'. The other two players with 'wild card' are Marcel Granollers and the young Andrey Rublev.
