Valencia Open expresses its full support to players who have communicated their disagreement with the current situation in the Spanish federation. The tournament, managed by Juan Carlos Ferrero, shares the player's view. 

"We understand and support 100% their opinions. They have spoken very clearly. The federation has no communication with the members of the Davis Cup and Fed Cup, therefore it is impossible to find the right direction. Managers should understand that without internal communication, without agreed strategy with our players and without good management, we go nowhere", said Ferrero.  

Antonio Martínez Cascales, former director of Valencia Open and alma matter of projects such as 'Valencia Open Young Talents' and 'Street Valencia Open Tennis' has been expressed in the same direction. "They are the best players in our history and we must attend their complaints. Federation can't act independently without taking into account the interest of our players, who make our sport bigger".
