25 October 2014

The 'Valencia Open 500 ATP World Tour has its first finalist. Andy Murray is chosen in the main event between him and David Ferrer, who could not overcome the play of his opponent and has recently falling 6-4, 7-5 in an exciting game with constant changes and in which has again demonstrated the high level maintained by two players.

Murray has better Ferrer started with a point of safety in his punches. Although the Scot has been 0-3 up, David has managed to come back and stand 4-3 which left him with options to force a third set. Andy, however, reacted, and in some very close games that are decided by small details, has decided to party and go to the final, already achieved in the Agora 2009 when became champion.

Ferrer explained that one of the keys has been the service. "Murray has thrown very well in the first set and I could not do anything about their service. Part of the first and second set he was superior to me. With Andy's difficult to play because it's very good", he noted. However, has opined that "I have a good number, 25 points Raonic, I'm at the level of the good, and the low Nadal obviously benefit me for the Masters in London".

The player has liked the atmosphere that has lived in the Agora. "The public support and have that adrenaline rush. Today was a great audience, made enough noise after the important points, and with so many key points people have become very involved in the game, and the atmosphere that has been created was fantastic", he said.
