Tournament tickets in exchange for food and clothing, plus workshops for children
Between 20 and 22 October, the Valencia Open 500 ATP World Tour is instigating a campaign to collect food and clothing for the charitable foundation Sant Joan de Déu Serveis Socials València. In exchange for every bag that contains a minimum of three non-perishable food items and two men’s garments in a good condition, the tournament will provide a ticket to the event.
Meanwhile, Que viene el lobo! Café-Taller and Arae, patrimonio para niños will be organizing activities on the two weekends of the tournament with surplus materials from the competition such as used tennis balls, empty tennis ball holders, cardboard boxes, plastic lids, yoghurt pots, plastic soft drink bottles and plastic or cardboard plates.
