The official Day of the Valencian Community falls on 9 October, a date when various events are held in Valencia: the mascletà firework displays, the ‘descent of the flag’ ceremony, a civic procession commemorating the date and this year,even further enhancing its appeal, the Valencia Open 500 Street Tennis event in Xátiva. The truth is that we could hardly let such an important date go by without organizing one of the sporting events that attracts the most young participants, aged between 4 and 16, who are either starting out in the tennis world or just want to have fun playing sport with other kids their age. The Street Tennis event will be held between 12:00 and 14:00 on the well-known Avenue Jaume I.
