This year’s 'Valencia Open 500 Young Talents' tournament has broken all records. The event, hosted at the Club Español de Tenis, has attracted almost 100 players in the men’s and women’s categories, all hoping for a place in the final which takes place on Sunday. The bad news is the injury of Carlos Sánchez, a finalist in last year’s tournament at the Agora against Nicola Kuhn. Meanwhile, Laura Pellicer, a finalist at the Real Club Jolaseta in Bilbao, managed to beat María Suárez, there by keeping her dreams of reaching a second consecutive final alive.
